Description
It is made of silver with a 90 cm silver chain or bronze with a 90 cm red gilded silver chain.
There are two poems engraved on both sides.
One is written by Joan Baez: “You can’t choose the way to die, or even the day. You can only decide how to live. Now.”
The other one is written by Dorothy Parker: “Love is like quicksilver in your hands. Leave your fingers open and it will stay there, close them and it will run away.“
The inspiration came to me seeing the medals that soldiers have around their necks when they leave for the war, as an identification plate, and since only the idea of war makes me shudder, I thought of creating this pendant to return the joy of life itself as ‘identification’.
