"FEDONE"
In creating the Fedone, I never imagined that they would be purchased most often by women, in that I had always envisaged them as being bought as gifts.
I believe that the Fedone embodies a modern talisman, which in some way expresses a new concept of self.
Perhaps this in itself explains a woman's choice to give it to herself rather than wait to receive one.
It may be worn according to one's own tastes.
Materials used are silver, bronze and gold.
There may be carving, insets, or diamonds of varying sizes and cuts,
So too for rubies, sapphires, emeralds, opals or semi-precious stones.
Requests are often made for insets of wood, such as ebony,amarant or paduk
These insets may be of various geometric shapes, such as triangles,
COMPOSITION
I am often asked to make the Fedone as a pairsometimes with three,
I thus created a composition which proposesdifferent possibilities, each time with the same materials and designs, matching,for example, with three fedoni in bronze, wherewe find a larger diamond in the centre,and two matching fedoni with smaller diamonds.

Another much-loved composition is the one with wood insets which, when put together, form a complete geometric figure,such as a pyramid or other similar design.
The rings are made in such a way that two or three may be worn,despite their individual size, on the same finger.

" FEDONE"
Nel creare il FEDONE, non mi sarei aspettata che l’acquirente più assiduo fossero le donne, in quanto ho sempre immaginato che fosse nato per essere un dono.
Credo che il Fedone abbia assunto l’essenza di un moderno talismano, che in qualche modo esprima una nuova concessione di se, ecco forse perché la donna scelga di regalarselo anziché aspettare di riceverlo.
Indossabile secondo il proprio gusto
I materiali sono argento, bronzo e oro.
Ci sono incisioni, ci sono incastonature o abbinamenti di diamanti di misure e tagli diversi ,cosi vale per i rubini,per i zaffiri,smeraldi,opali o pietre semipreziose.
Spesso è richiesto con degli incastri di legno, come l’ebano, radica o il paduk.
Questi incastri possono avere diverse forme geometriche,come il triangolo, il rombo o il trapezio.
LA COMPOSIZIONE
Spesso il fedone mi è chiesto in coppia, a volte anche a tre,detto allora tris.
Cosi ho creato la composizione che propone diverse soluzioni sempre con gli stessi materiali e disegni, già abbinate, come nel esempio di tre fedoni in bronzo,dove troviamo il centrale con un diamante più grande, ed i due fedoni abbinati con diamanti più piccoli.
Incisioni laterali alle pietre completano il disegno.
Ulteriore Composizione molto amata è quella con incastri di legno che abbinati formano un’unica figura geometrica come una piramide o altro disegno.Soluzioni tecniche permettono l’indossabilità,nonostante la loro individuale grandezza,di due o tre fedoni sullo stesso dito.
